The Party

I remember one time my mom's friend invited us to a party of a little kid. When we got there a guy from my school was there and it was really awkward. The little kids party was actually from his family. That guy was my partner in fifth grade and our parents always made fun of us because we liked each other at that time. I was sitting in a table with my mom and my sister and the guys mom was sitting in front of me. I was enjoying my food peacefully and I noticed this lady and I asked my mother if they were part of his family. I mean I was always a very curious person so I wanted to know. Biggest mistake. My mom told the guys mom that I already wanted to know the family for the future. Usually when I am very embarrassed I turn red and you can immediately tell that my face is red. They kept saying stuff and eventually I couldn't handle it anymore so I started crying. They looked so surprised that I started but I just couldn't help myself. Thank god the kid wasn't there to witness that because that would have been super embarrassing.
